No Wizard Here

Chicago was meant to be hit by the worst storm in 70 years yesterday. I was psyched, I missed Delhi’s massive monsoon and a nice storm would have been splendid. But then, hopes were dashed and instead of a rave up in the clouds, we got the two step.
All I ever wanted was to be like Dorothy and Toto.

I dont think it was even a two-step. It was more like a classical foxtrot. Elegant and pretty, but not that exciting at all.
Speaking of monsoon, though, Hyderabad failed on that front--Delhi I think must be better. Even New Orleans was superior to the gray rain that Hyderabad got. Maybe that's why the British never took them over...reminded them of home.

Ha! You're probably quite right. Delhi, I hear, had one helluva monsoon. Greatest one in a decade.
